Famine and Folklore are so adventurous, those kinds of qualities make me prefer this to PC

I got my mom into this record when it came out, and she still jams it in her car.

I really do wish I saw something in this record, but it's merely just a pleasant listen after spinning it again.

It was definitely underwhelming when it first came out, but it grew hard with time.

One of Opeths' best albums so far imo, together with Pale Communion. It seems hard for some OPeth fans to understand that certain bands don't care about playing the same sort of music for twenty years. As I've state in one of my reviews, those are the bands that matter in the end; The Beatles, Led Zep, Radiohead etc.. Opeth take it a bit slower but I feel their best work, the truly classic album, is still to come; The perfect mix of death and prog has not been produced. Hopefully that's what Opeth is gonna bring to the table next...

Slither's really catchy for an Opeth song. I dig.

This simply doesn't click with me. I enjoy pc quite a bit but this just bores me to death and back.

Häxprocess is a jam, but the song structures on here are just off and don't do much for me :[
