No but I've always had either an MP3 or Spotify version, so having the FLAC version without the lossy compression or the low pass filter Spotify does is great.

Do you have normalise on in the Spotify settings? If you turn it off you'll get much closer to the original master levels. I find it nicer to listen to music Spotify this way, even if I have to adjust volume between songs/albums

Cool, I might have to buy the FLAC version then. I love this album - I think it's one of their best if not their best - and if the FLAC version makes it sound better it's well worth paying for this album again.

My Spotify settings are correct. They've always cut a tiny bit of the bass off for all tracks and the bitrate being lossy there's a slight loss in quality. The bass issue I'm not sure if it's a low pass filter or the OGG algorithm ignores some of the bass but at least to me it sounds like sub bass is mainly affected. Either way it's a real thing, but Spotify isn't really bad though and I listen to it every day, but it does feel better to listen to CD+ quality music.

@Lelle If you've already purchased a CD or equivalent version I think you're already good. The FLAC version is 16-bit lossless like the CD, and even if it were 24-bit it wouldn't make much of a difference.

Lads. I had this at a 4.5 forever, but today I bumped it up to a 5. I never really know which Converge album is my favorite at any given moment, but this one is the one that I always come back to for my "comfort listening." Re-reading that sentence, I probably just admitted/realized this one is my favorite.
