somewhat I said that, just dont think they deserve all the credit for any musical movement from 64 on, but obviously like them. They actually stole quite a bit from other acts that came before, and because they were the Beatles people say they were the first. But they did take what they took from others and made it mainstream

Because every note and every space between the notes is exactly where it should be, and nothing is included that should have been omitted.
Dark Side of the Moon is about as well-crafted as it gets. It's a complete, coherent package from beginning to end -- not because it is a concept album, but because it flows. It is not just a collection of songs that happen to be good; the sum is greater than the parts.
