"Saw them last night. They were on point"
What was their setlist? setlist fm barely updates theirs for some odd reason and I'm really hoping it stays about the same its been throughout. Although I'd prefer There is No Horizon over Drawn Into the Next Void

Caught them in Baltimore last night. Fairly certain this was their setlist:
To Flow Through Ashen Hearts
Drawn Into the Next Void
Further Opening the Wounds
The Dawn Is Hollow
Dissolved Orders
Cutting the Throat of God
To See Death Just Once
Stare Into Death and Be Still
They must not have thought us convincing enough for a Dead Oceans encore. They waited ~5-10 minutes before turning on the house lights.

Probably more of a time issue than the band thinking if the crowd was worthy of it

That would usually be the case, and I wouldn't blame them otherwise. Just an outlier for the tour is all. They delivered hard

We had the same thing happen, they didn't play Dead Oceans for us either and I'm so confused why not. They played it on most of the leg of the tour so that was really disappointing not to hear that. Regardless they were fucking outstanding live and I had a blast. Top tier

Trust me, it was still absolutely incredible! To be honest, this might be my favorite Ulcerate now slightly edging out EIF.

Also Meborphus did Pyrrhon open for your show? I think Pyrrhon only opened for us and a few others and because of that, maybe that's why we didn't get dead oceans because there was more time committed.

Saw them in Raleigh on Saturday night. Really tight performance. They got through almost 40 mins before it started storming and the roof of the venue started leaking/pouring water onto Jamie and his drums. They cancelled the rest of the set, missed prolly the last 2 or 3 songs.

^^^ fuck that's insane. I almost drove 3 hours to see that show and I was kicking myself all week knowing I was going to miss it. I hope the venue did something to make up for it.
I'm not at all surprised they only did songs off the last two albums since they're absolutely incredible albums. I'm afraid we'd have to see very many tours in order to catch all the songs we'd like to see which quite honestly could be any random configuration of tracks from their discog lol
I'm curious though if Paul talked much between songs or they just kinda fired off into the next one? I'd really love to know what their inspiration for this album title is

Pyrrhon opening for Ulcerate sounds like a proper experience

There's no banter at Ulcerate shows. It's nothing but riffs

Or to be fair. There's the
"Thank you so very fucking much *insert city*. We are Ulcerate and this is our last song for tonight. Stare into death and be still."

Definitely not a lot of banter which I like. Less banter, more music. I dont want the opeth comedy hour

Paul didn't speak until he told everyone they had to figure out what to do with the roof leaking.
I caught them in Richmond for the Shrines tour and I'm pretty sure they played songs from every album (EIF-Shrines)

i mean Jamie is on record saying they’re not that interested in their old stuff anymore so i wouldn’t expect much other than EIF t/t and Dead Oceans, which are the only two they still consistently play. they did play End the Hope when i saw them but that was before CTTOG came out so even less likely they play their old stuff going fwd. they're pretty into the Stare/CTTOG sound

Unfortunately missed out on Pyrrhon except for 3 songs because my friend couldn't get out of work sooner. Granted, was glad to see them play at all and I spoke to the vocalist for a bit and he was very chill.
