Temporal Disintegration is so harrowing and heavy. They manage to never compromise the sheer death metalness of everything, but work in such a dizzying amount of variation. The compositions feel so free. The drummer's inclusion of electronic toms sounds so interesting. Would have never guessed that could work in this kind of music.

Yeah. The variation and “looseness” is what makes this so darn replayable. You’ve got all the hard-hitting ingredients alongside that but the nuances are absolutely riveting. Top notch craftsmanship.

the e-drums are straight off watchtower’s control and resistance. they’re clearly big fans because it was all over the second half of disposal too. i highly recommend checking that record out if you haven’t.
