Not far off the first 6 at all
|
| |
Eh will need to listen more to compare to most of the first 6. It's much better than Vol 4. at least
to me
(sorry I think that album is weak compared to the other first 5).

Vol. 4 is no doubt the weakest of the first 6 but I still prefer it to this. This is more consistent,
but Wheels of Confusion and Snowblind are better than anything on here.

| |
Definitely prefer Vol. 4 to this.
|
| |
Eh will have to see Nero about the standout tracks but as of right now I definitely prefer this to Vol. 4 overall.

Vol. 4 has classic songs, but I dunno how it can be a better album as a whole

Because the classic songs are just that good.

H&H is as classic and this one flows so much better for me.
|
| |
consistently excellent/superb album > a few classic songs.
Of course when you have albums like MoR, you get pretty much an album of classic songs.
|
| |
Vol. 4 is consistently more interesting than this. I much prefer the style of that album to anything they've done with Dio.

Mid section of Vol 4 (with the exception of Snowblind) is either "meh" or "eww" for me

The t/t and maybe Die Young are really the only songs on here that can compete with Wheels of
Confusion, Snowblind, Supernaut and Under the Sun

Can't "Children of the Sea" do the same though?

And Lonely is the Word and Neon Knights I might add.

Agreed, and agreed
|

Agreed with u guys. A lot of classic Sabbath songs on this thing and way more consistent than Vol. 4. I think I actually prefer this album to half of the Ozzy 6. Doesn't touch MoR or SBS though and doesn't have as many classics as Paranoid does.
|
| |
Doesn't touch any of their first 6.
|
| |
^As expected.
