Still think this is way underrated. Yeah, The Father is a straight up stinker, but at least half of this could fit on any top tier Godflesh album (LAND LORD, ARMY OF NON, PERMISSION, and the unholy fucking doom choon of YOU ARE THE JUDGE).

"Living/Ending" released today. I have to go back and listen to Purge again but the new track is, simply put, very Godflesh. Hypnotic and dirty. Broadrick did an interview where he stated the songs on the new EP, Decay, were recorded during the Purge sessions but took years to release because of label issues. Said he had recorded all of the vocals prior to the hernia surgery but recognizes that he was exacerbating the hernia every time he recorded or toured. Wild to think he can't shout anymore or else he'll blow his guts out.
