yeah slayer is no joke...but its this album....the speed, darkness, aggression in south of heaven cant be found in this album..xcept for jihad and flesh storm..

Damn this review is long, but good.

I don't get it. I love all of Slayer's albums from Reign in Blood to God Hates Us All, however, Christ Illusion sucked frankly. It didn't resonate at all. It was too one dimensional and hardly any riffs, solos or vocals stimulated the emotions. God Hates Us All was such a brutally aggressive and intensely emotional album. Tracks like Disciple and New Faith projected such pained emotional fury that just doesn't exist on Christ Illusion.
