"isn't the new Meshuggah and Cult of Luna coming out in february too?"

Oh, shit! Forgot about those. But they have some pretty lofty standards to live up to, now.

Meshuggah isn't until April or something, I think?... but yeah Feb is so ridiculously stacked...

in fact more stacked due to the absence of the afore-mentioned, lol

Listened to the first half on my commute this morning, whew this thing is gorgeous and I'm all for it. Love all the mid-tempo stuff.

Yeah Meshuggah is April 1st, I'm counting down the minutes for that release

But I also preordered this months ago, which I don't usually do anymore, because I was so ridiculously pumped after Time Will Die

Both will end up in my top 5 of the year, it's not even a question

'Kinda miss heavier Rolo'

idk this is pretty heavy, just harnesses it's heaviness in different ways, resulting in a greater concentration of engrossing atmospheres (rather than the direct punches of yesteryear). Overall this certainly FEELS heavier than TWD to me, it just lacks the outright chaos of their earlier material.

This is ridiculous solid the whole way through but doesn’t have as many jaw dropping twinkle moments for me as TWD. When they go, they go a lot harder than TWD though for sure.

Absolutely flawless vocal performance though again, that’s one thing for sure!
