I think Bury a Friend and See me in a Crown are better than every track on this but this is a much more solid cohesive album start to finish, the only track I ever skip being that one in the middle where she’s trying to be edgy with the spoken word about being judged but that makes me cringe.

Releasing both those two albums gives me a lot of hope she could have a real top quality album in her next tbh

I’m not sure you’re her target demographic with 41% death metal in your pie 🤣

at the very least Oxytocin should shield this thing from a 1 rating. That tunes will always be a timeless bop. I sweat every time I hear it.

Oxytocin is on the 2ward side of this ngl, that song with that subject matter just feels hopelessly deja vu coming from Her Blankstareness Eil.

I disagree strongly on grounds that, as a DJ, that song is one of the only things relevant to my craft in the underground circuits, and it does its job exceedingly well in that regard. A little familiarity wedged into a set full of largely unrecognized tunes goes a long way, and with that one, you'd be wise to put a "caution: floor may be slippery when wet" sign on the dancefloor before you spin it in. I'll find my snobby high-brow aRtIsTiC iNtEgRiTy in any tune aside from that one. It's got my heart... or at least, its got something of mine.

With that said, I 100% see where you're coming from and largely agree from an unbias point.

Hmm yeah okay, I can feel that re. danceability and have easily enjoyed Billie the most in that capacity tbh (though not that song, thanx for nothing DJ :[)
On the whole ig I keep a vague distinction between tunes that are fun to shake to and tunes that are good bc there are so many of the former that I'd never wanna hear in any other capacity

Oxytocin is about banging but I wouldn’t consider it a banger. The instrumental is so flat and Billie kinda sounds like poop.
