and yea few days ago came to the epiphany that roots is in fact best full length. was always a very close second but finally got the edge if anything bc its a nice concise 11 tracks and mike is in his prime (and houses the ultimate slapper of gimme half)

The Act is that album that consistently grows on me. I like the weirder stuff, and Sacrifice showcasing that sound in all of it's glory.

Dead Throne would be over Transit Blues if it cut out some of the second half for me. Dear Love is the only one I just can't listen to now. Grown out of it.

I realized I love everything this band has done. Or at least every album has one of my fave tracks. How can Space EP be ass when it has Alien.



I still think their best track forever be one that didn't even make an album. South of the city.

Honestly, The Act is pretty fucking awesome. It has a lot of them trying new things outside their comfort zone and there's some misfires but tracks like Chemical are fantastic despite being a different sound for them
