I've stopped paying attention to whatever is happening currently in games and now the only games I play are FPS from the 00s.

yeah haha I was kinda kidding, there’s a ton of good indies out there. And retro classics never going out of style
|
| |
I modded my Wii U to play gamecube games, been playing that a ton lately

it is a terrible time to be an indie game developer. i was in that scene for over six years and glad to be giving it a rest now. once i have become a successful vocalist ill be giving it another try

sounds nice noler :^) been playing a bunch of wii titles myself lately. been thinking about no more heroes - the third one is the only game im still excited for anymore. suda is / was a great creative force and killer7 is immensely underrated

I don't have a gaming pc and I'm pretty sure my MacBook would explode if I played them. Shame because they both look right up my alley, especially Undying. Currently playing through Doom 3 and restarted Escape from Butcher Bay and man those games are siiiiiick. Both games really informed much of the design of AAA gaming to this day.

i gotta check out no more heroes, seems like a fun time. the bundle is frequently on sale on switch too
same w bayonetta

YOOOO i LOVE escape from butcher bay!!! one of my all time faves, it makes me ecstatic to see someone else mention that game because its art and craft has seemingly been forgotten about. agreed that u can see the influence they had - funny most gamers have no idea where the games they love took root. without shadowrun for snes i doubt cyberpunk 2077 would exist
check out the 7th guest. my special interest games are fmv adventures from the 90s. check the neverhood also.

this is the only thing I know about Bayonetta https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xYu8EKEbWP4

bayo is okay. no more heroes is a lot better imo - the first game is a tonal masterpiece and the second one plays up the goofiness / fleshes the characters out more at the expense of its darkness. but both are essential imo

That even sounds like something she’d say

I love the aesthetics of Doom 3 and Butcher Bay. Really love worlds that are hi tech and futuristic yet still look really dingy and shitty

Are you guys talking action games without mentioning the best one ever made called Devil May Cry 5 smh
