We’ve had ‘lockdown albums’ but this new one seems the first really good ‘how did lockdown change everything for me?’ album.



I’m tempted to 5 it, definitely in the running.



Just had three days mostly stuck inside wfh with scaffolders working around me and about six deliveries I had to be in for, it triggered a load of lockdown memories/feelings, might be why this suddenly clicked to a huge degree

welp, now that the hype has died down prob be a good time to check this

(btw, I thought naked babies were out)

new single(s) is more of the same, and i couldn’t be more stoked to say that. band is in a real sweet spot for me after the last two records

i'm a one single and out guy, but so pumped for the album. their old stuff and new stuff are so wildly different but equally amazing.

this is lowkey a masterpiece. moffatt's lyrics and storytelling are so unparalleled. witty, funny, sardonic, self-destructive, insightful. not to mention that gruff delivery and softly sung hooks that are somehow so catchy. instrumentally too this is maybe their most inspired with really great variety, perfect beat selection and the guitar melodies really pop. that sax on kebabylon is crazy. think this might be their best.

can't wait to dig in to the new one!
