It’d be an exaggeration to say they sound the same, but there are definitely paralleles between the two. Strange to think there isn’t imo. Some of these jagged crossover riffs remind me of Synergy for sure, prefer this though. Extol’s best are Undeceived/Burial.

Even though they share riffs, this is really more mathycore stuff and Extol is prog DM stuff...and I'm talking on songwriting, vibe and the genre itself. Not really saying which is better anyway...just get a grip guys...whenever someone say this is good stuff, there's always some sputhead saying "check Extol" damn...its Saturday and I'm working...and it sucks...some ribs and a jar of wine at lunch with friends, living near my workplace, got me in a good mood though, so don't spoil it, acting like you see underneath that they sound the same...its a total different piece.

Spin this brother! This and Extol are awesome...this is a Mathcore band with slight thrash elements, sharing 2 members from Extol, 2 from tDEP and an indie pop singer. Extol is Prog DM/thrash band all the way, with some nasty albums such as Undeceived, which is the meanest you can get from them...if you consider entering the gates towards the light you should consider to do all discog.

ok now that I checked out what "dolt" means I'm not offended...but either way...I get that you feel important being the "only person" doing that, well big new is that you're not. I just feel this def a side step genrewise from that band...and ignoring that is completely deceiving (pun) to send someone there, but its your call..and I respect, fun enough is Jester mentioning that you just change the vocalist and there you go...boom...Extol eheh...dolts!
