Pretty funny that you guys are saying that anywhere from 3-6 of their albums are pretty mediocre at best. Lots of range. But yeah I'll check the early stuff again and report back. Thanks for the suggestions.

Nymphetamine is great too.

spaceship, the takeaway is that although cradle of filth don't always hit their mark, you can never fault them for a lack of ideas. they always try something with each record, for better or worse

Nymphetamine is pretty eh to me. This is the opposite of eh.

No doubt that this is on a whole different level.

There's some moments on Nymphetamine that are great and others that just try too hard. It kinda ruins it for me.

So hard to decide on a rating for this. Been jamming for months and I just can't pick.

Haha, I might just do that. The production on the CD is a bit suffocating and unbalanced, rest is superb but it's a little bit disappointing that everything sounds a bit off. Sounds better without headphones on though.

I dunno, for some odd reason I love Thornography. However it is wayyyyy better than the last three dogshit albums they put out.

Album Rating: 5.0
Oh I love Thornography too, but it's not better than Hammer.

Yeah, I would agree with that. Hammer just has that urgency they've been lacking.

Gonna have to let this sink in cause I gotta warm up to his shrieks a bit, but musically this was sweet. Really got some Opeth and Ulver vibes.

I don't see Opeth or Ulver at all tbh bro. Vox are an acquired taste though, but the vox here are pretty much my favorite ever.
