I hope these guys release a shorter more well thought album than this one next. I'm leaning towards lowering my rating for this but I haven't listened too recently so I'll figure that out soon.

Yeah I know McTime wasn't into it either. For me it's refreshing, only issue I have is that unfunny "Foreword".

My issue was that the whole album sounded super homogenous, something DGD seems to sidestep for me. DGD is a formula I enjoy, personally, but nowhere near fanboy.



Also Tilian does not sound like Green at all. HTS vocalist on the other hand…

tilian doesnt rlly sound like green the comparison just came from tilian being in saosin for a very very brief period of time. they did a demo together it was pretty dope but he was a weird ass fit for that band.

Had to check Shrezzers. Aside from a couple tracks, I don’t wven really agree with a DGD comparison honestly. But yeah I agree with Oni. Pretty boring. Most of the swancore bands I checked are just watered down dgd with less interesting song writing and variation. They’re definitely no exception

@Wonder: I think what I'm trying to get at is aside from a few select albums I'm not as hot on the vocals here than in other bands that are similar. Plus these guys are just too dopey for me, and I like Weezer's quirky style.

@McTime: yeah, no hate if you like them I just struggle to enjoy much outside a few select albums. Most of it falls in that 3-3.5 category except Mothership (2.5) and Happiness (4) for me.
