Chuck, I can accept you like this - but the idea you can't see that this might be a very tough sell musically to many...?
I don't think people aren't liking this due to peer pressure/edgy points at all - it's a real strange release in a whole lot of different ways. It's purposefully scrappy, Kanye is in your face with all his baggage, the guest spots are often quite jarring if you're not on board.
The critical reception is REALLY mixed. A metacritic score under 70% is unheard of - that's the equivalent of a 2/5 here, honestly try and find more than 1 out of every 25 albums that score under 70% there. Plus Kanye has a degree of 'critical armour' {cough, the Pitchfork review score, cough} so really it has been rated a flop, not a 'mega flop', but a flop all the same.

I don’t either I’m just highlighting the fact that this site is increasingly becoming another mob of social media types seeking affirmation from each other rather than about the ~music~ means the site is slowly turning just another cliche internet cesspool
I also think if anyone thinks any piece of music is beyond being received as both the greatest thing ever and worst simultaneously by two different people you’re fucking moron at best, utter piece of shit at worst
