This is one of those albums I have always tried to get in to cause I always just see constant praise for it, but I can't go beyond thinking "it's fine". I think the production is what mainly kills it for me.

Don't put a sax on your shit if you don't know how to compose with it, whole album sounds like middling overproduced progdeath with a sax layered on top for "novelty"

it blends surprisingly well - i do think it's a bit overproduced but the songwriting here is great. the sax is my least favourite bit but it's fine.
