The early versions of this records are censored, and that's pretty lame.

That was very nice, junkie.
All these old musicians, I grew up learning they were dope wrecks and loonies. And now we see they are just smarter and happier, and in the case of Jagger and Richards, immortal.

Am I the only one who has a love/hate relationship with this album? All my opinion, but..
-Twentieth Century Fox feels like a throwaway pop song that everyone would have been completely forgotten a year after it hit the charts
-Alabama Song just plods along and kills the mood of the album
-I Looked At You just feels like they needed something to fill out the album and Morrison didn't feel like writing more than a single verse
-Take It As It Comes has the poorest veiled references to sex I've ever heard and the dumb lyrics really destroy what is otherwise a great song
It's just so jarring in between the other songs. It's like Iron Maiden's Piece of Mind: 2/3 of it contains some of the best material they've ever written, and the rest is garbage. (At least PoM put it all at the end.) The good stuff is a hard 4.5, but the rest really drags it down. If I'm going to listen to an album all the way through, I'd rather go for Strange Days.
