I guess it's cringy to try to return to your old style with a sense of emotional maturity lyrically. Songs like "First Breath, Last Breath" are so fucking heartbreaking, and the closer is probably my SOTY.

Yes, although I've never liked Buddy, nor do I care for the band anymore after this shitshow of an album.

First Breath, Last Breath is probably my favorite Senses Fail track. If not at least top 5. I’ve only met Buddy once, it was this past May. He was a really nice guy. Saw him perform at Northern Invasion then saw him watching A Perfect Circle later on and talked to him

This album is probably my least favorite of theirs too but it's pretty good overall. I mean a band returning to their old sound has caused results so disastrous that this feels like a great triumph in some ways.



The guitars/energy aren't quite as enjoyable as LIEY, but it works and there are a couple great tracks as there are on every SF album.



As far as this Bad Omens thing goes, I'm pretty sure Buddy wouldn't lie about why they left the tour. He's a pretty honest guy.
