His falsetto needs some work man, it's not good.

Its brilliant on other tracks. Albiet with layers. Heartattack in a lay-by, actually theres just too many examples of where its brilliant to make your comment seem really ignorant.

But im not disagreeing, its not brilliant for two lines of a song, true.

This continues to get better for me. I think it might be his best yet.

Dude's hair is girlfriend material on that sleeve, warming to this...admittedly I haven't listened to it anymore, but definitely warming.

Fucking love ya doof.

This is a great record no matter what way you look at it. Pop, rock, conviction, craft, style, technicality, product, and some good old fashioned tunage.

I still only know Permanating from this but it's a nice song, don't know where all the hate and pop aversion comes from lol. Need to give the full album a proper listen further down the line.

Honestly this sounds more like a Porcupine Tree than a pop record.

I bloody love raven, I give credit to the man's principles as well but I bet he's a total cunt to work for and a proper selfish tit.

lol how does he seem selfish? A bit pretentious sometimes maybe, but that's part of the job description when you become a progressive rock musician.

The absence of Minnemann and Govan is strong here. Even in its quietest moments, HCE was interesting, this album instead sounds really static to me

about the iPod thing yea. Also it's pretty hypocritical to complain about technology, and specifically Facebook, then use those platforms anyways. Still he has a lot of good insights in interviews and is very well spoken.

Hmm, I think the Facebook issue isn't easy. He's complaining about the aspects of Fb he doesn't use. It is required to use Fb to promote his work and that's different.

I think it's because the only Facebook friend he has is his mom
