Yes but I never understood how with that kind of message they want to keep canon the stories of the demon Yahweh. Like please take as little from the holy book as possible, if you need faith to find peace and spread love go do you, but I don't get it man.

Religion in politics (particularly in the conservative sphere) has proven to lead to more death. Completely irreligious regimes have exhibited similar trends in our history. Keeping the most zealous violent extremist ideologues at bay (at times by means of war) is still a democratic western value to uphold. Balancing that is our greatest challenge and I agree we are not getting it right atm

wildcard why do you have the impression i don't also hate christian fundamentalism or jewish orthodoxy? how many times have i said over the past decade that the planet would be better off if the entire fox news electorate were dumped into a volcano? how is it hard to conceptualize, someone dislikes religious societies, maybe they're motivated by secularism, someone dislikes conservative societies maybe they're motivated by progressivism. someone dislikes islamic societies they must be a racist christian larping as a crusader?
