I appreciate the technicality of it and most often it fits but I feel like JSM sometimes over eggs the pudding so to speak.

its just the most tame, the fills and actual patterns on previous records were a lot more interesting

"haha I've never heard this expression. Is this a real thing "over egg the pudding""

Pretty sure it's a British English phrase. I'm American and have only heard it used in the context of the British soccer media. It's a great turn of phrase though.

Destroyers is my favorite because of JSM's fill work. When he steps away from blast beats to have these twisting tom/cymbal fills it's gorgeous, like the last few minutes of the album and the middle of Dead Oceans.

of fracture and failure

lol @ the t/t being a "snoozefest"

you try so hard to shake it, but you're still the same dullard that dropped into the lap of the site 6-7 years ago

so you declare it the "least interesting drumming" out of ulcerate's full lengths without even considering one of their full lengths

do you cut your pubes and super glue them on your lips for a pubestache?

actually not what i said, lets try again before your panties get scrunched up tighter

what I said was

"least impressive ulcerate record for drumming"

did u not comprehend the 'for drumming' part

also, I considered fracture when making my comment. dont know the album's percussion well enough to really be fair on that vs the drumming on this, so I'll retract and say the last 3 have better/more interesting percussion
