Green Day are the better band imo and I enjoy them more but I've recently come the conclusion that Blink's S/T>Every GD album bar Dookie and Insomniac.

Los Angeles is still my favorite on here.
That guitar line in the chorus is the bees knees.

can't say i agree
even without the personal appreciation i have for green day, i still think s/t's the only blink album that could be put on the same level as any of green days stronger albums

Only thing that Green Day has ever done that's better than Blink's work is American Idiot / Dookie.

As a pop punk album, Dude Ranch is far superior to any of green day's pop punk stuff
As a mature album, self titled is way better than any mature green day album
and as like an average album in their discog, cheshire cat or take off are way better than the average green day album
I loved them when I was in grade school, but green day kind of suck tbh

Self Titled is definitely more mature than anything Green Day has put out (and better than literally all of their discog except for American Idiot imo)
I never really gave Dude Ranch a full listen though so I can't say.

LIFE IS TOO SHORT TO LAST LONG
That is some "We Rule The Night"-level lyricism.

I thought "critical" was the song about Tom. unless you mean Tom song in a different way.

I'd say its definitely San Diego just after reading the lyrics.
Also mentions seeing "The Cure", great tune

Honestly the weakest songs for me on here are the title track, rabbit hole and possibly teenage satellites, if only because none of the dudes have any business writing about being teens whilst being in their 40s
San Diego could also have done with Matt only singing the bridge; having him sing the chorus seems to defeat the purpose of the song being about Tom.
