oh, I should check?

RYM comes up with two bands and one is 'neo-crust / post-metal'... so presumably that one and not the atmo-black thingy, lol

sound-off... 'Definitely my favorite thing Alex CF has released post Fall of Efrafa. An absolute torrential downpour of emotion and energy.'

I see. Yep, it's 'Morrow (UK)' on here. I am excite.

edit: name your price on Bandcamp by the looks of things, cool!

excellent stuff, cheers

Will probably just snag it all then, may as well. I've not heard Morrow before but that sounds like an offer I cannot refuse. Nice that it goes to a good cause too.

Yeah as it sits right now I have this at 4 because I have a strict internal rule not to 5 something I just technically discovered....but if anything is going to be a 5 a few months from now its probably going to be this bad boy.

Covenant of Teeth by Morrow is very good too, Demon. And the Light Bearer debut too of course. Alex has been part of a number of great projects.

I'm still yet to check Anopheli though.

That little piano part at the end of republic of heaven, chills everything. Perfect placement for something like that as it leads into another album highlight

Saw Amenra yesterday and now I'm listening to this and reminding myself how much better it is. I mean, it was a great show and Amenra's heavy parts are probably more brutal, but in terms of dynamics and songwriting this is so much more colorful. Awesome record.

I would normally say the same but he's 'digging' Gospel and it would be unwise to distract him from this worthwhile endeavour

Why is the tracklisting weird on the new morrow track when you compare the bandcamp release to the other streaming services?

Lapsus is probs one of my top-20 albums ever. It's absolutely monolithic and so well written and paced.

I will not blithely wilt in the light of your glory...I will not blindly walk and glimpse the void.
