I gave this a 1 before I saw Fantano's review. The fact Fantano hated this makes me want to 5 it just because I hate him and his pretentious hipster ways. I'm honestly surprised there aren't as many 1's on this as I figured there would be. It shouldn't take Fantano to tell us this is an awful album. I don't feel like I have to justify my rating either lulz.



I 5'd Instant Gratification and I stand by that rating. That's their best album next to DBM, imo. I don't see how anyone could flat out give IG a 1.. but it was probably not artsy enough for Fantano...

I think his reviews can be pretty uninformed at times, but all the decent content is on his second channel.

I think a lot of the time it can be easy to chastise him for his exaggerated personal opinions when he clearly has such a solid grasp of genres, influences, and the history of the albums he reviews, because it sometimes feels like being so well-known, he has an obligation to say whether something is objectively good or bad.

On reviews like this and DGD he just let his 'no, not feeling this at all' side take over, and I think he has the right to do that whether I agree with it or not.

Cal is like 10% funny though.
