I hadn't spun it in full for a while until today but it still sounds as great as ever.

Listened to 'I Went to the Store' yesterday and it fair near brought a tear to me eye. Classic tune, I'm placing a ban on myself listening to it over the three months before my wedding day

Amazing tune that, classic album too I'd say. This is dangerously close to a 5 for me.

This has the perfect balance of wit and emotion combined with excellent arrangements. FJM is probably the artist whose next album I'm anticipating the most at the moment (actually that title may go to The National, though there's a sense of trepidation with them that I don't get with FJM).

He put on a great show too, the live version of True Affection was stunning. The between song banter was a bit too rehearsed at times though, cringed a couple of times, but that was my only real complaint other than some of the first album material sounding a little flat compared to anything from this. A 9/10 brilliant live performance

Although 2016 has been a better year than 2015 overall, this is probably the best album to come out in either year.

When I saw him live in May this year I was just blown away. He was fucking intense, danced liked a madman and hit every single note. The setlist was awesome and included a badass cover of closer by nine inch nails. At one point he aimed a kick he might or might not have intended to connect with at one of the tech guys who got in his way. Definitely one of the most interesting and unpredictable characters in the game. Dunno if he's that committed every night or not, but I was treated to the most enthralling live music experience of my life.

Anyone who gets chance to see this man live must do it.

Well...this was tedious. There are moments where the lyrics connect, but they're so self-indulgent. It doesn't help that the music is so sleepy and lifeless, if not pretty.
