Eaten back and tomb of the mutilated are ok albums
But after that they started releasing music which sounded to much the same

Kill also has a few good songs but I'll never see how any of their albums could be called classics.

Just sounds like they're a bit too violent for you. Stick to Whitesnake.

I've heard violent music before man, I just don't get the super high praise this band gets. And I have no idea who whitesnake are.

1. the complaint about samey music is valid, the band doesn't venture out of their comfort zone much but whatever
2. seriously just quit fruitlessly trying to convince us how not brutal this is, you will never succeed obv

Well maybe saying they are not brutal was kinda silly, I meant it as in I don't consider them a brutal DM band just straight up DM.

brutal death metal is a "same-y" genre. if you venture out of the bdm sound, then you quite likely aren't bdm anymore and you've lost your initial fanbase. that's just how it works. saying that a bdm band doesnt vary their sound enough (holding them to the same standard as an electronic band or some shit) is an unfair and irrelevant critique. you either like the genre and the riffs or you don't.

That cover art is as close to ominous territory as it gets for Vince Locke; rather creepy, but akin to Kill, relatively SFW compared to CC's earlier albums and Torture. It doesn't matter in the end, but me gusta.
Sadistic Embodiment's a punishing tune. First heard it through Music Choice and liked the hell out of it ever since.

yeah the art rules even though its a bit tame for CC standards
