"More wars have been fought over pussy than anything else. Get wrecked nerd."

I'm 100% sure that by the numbers, more wars have been fought over land and religion than pussy. Only that fake war where Brad Pitt died got fought over pussy.

Don't forget money, jewels and everything that shines

Yeah the ratings on this will drop for sure. It's a bit of a shame, but Linkin Park will just forever be one of those bands who have their fair share of haters. Unless you grew up with the band (most people seem to have heard Hybrid Theory in their teenage years, and it took off from there), I can understand why the rap-metal thing would come off as silly to some. With the exception of a few bands like Faith No More and Deftones, many of the nu-metal bands have experienced that setback.

trying to think of interludes more useless than "The Summoning" and drawing blanks

There was a lot of shit in nu-metal but LP have always been a notch above the crap Limp Bizkit and Papa Roach made.

Then again, I'm talking about their actual "nu-metal"...

Pointless Tool fillers

Yeah The Summoning was a pretty lackluster filler. I think Drawbar worked well for a "between two songs"-interlude, but The Summoning was just kinda there. I feel the same about the interludes on A Thousand Suns. I swear half that album feels like interlude songs that are completely forgettable.

Idk, The Summoning kinda seems like an extension of GATS to me, with the riff

Faith no more are not nu metal, they are alt metal just like janes addiction, RATM, Tool, blindslide, rollins bands mr bungle, helmet and primus. FTM contrary to nu metal bands doesn't have a murky bass and downtuned guitars with no solos

I agree, but they did influence several of the nu-metal bands, so that's the reason I mentioned them.

Cuz is funny as shit to see how some people bitch too much when LP hs high ratings. Besides my recent
comments were just saying that money caused wars and that FNM is not nu metal, but ok.
