So, not too many others got quite as enamored with Corridor as I did, huh? The replay value on that album alone is fantastic. I don't think I have ever listened to a Chevelle album in my car for as long as I did that one over the last week or so.
I like this one a lot, but The Damned and Under the Knife bring it down for me. At least Twinge saves the end of it.

Hats Off I think maybe is an album for the fans that mainly come for Pete's voice and not necessarily riffs or heaviness. That album is far more melodic than the others and has a vibe about none of the others match. Revenge, Prima Donna and Glimpse Of The Con are very special songs to me for this. I really couldn't understand any distaste for those 3, especially Revenge but hey, I'm super biased lol

No way, Under the Knife is awesome! But yeah, The Damned is the one mediocre song there.

I see Sci fi and Hats as being very similar, and the type of Chevelle I prefer most. Emotional and melodic. Sci fi does it better and is more hard hitting, but Hats is fantastic as well. There are only a few ok songs. The rest are awesome.

Band peaked with This Type of Thinking. Maybe I owe North Corridor a relisten but none of their albums really held my attention in full since Vena Sera
