I still don't get how people who love Cynic think this is that bad. It's not quite the same as Focus or TIA but there's so much here to like. I think the musicianship while toned back is still quite solid and inventive. The vocals might take getting used to and the lyrics are a little overboard at times but I don't get how so many people just write this off as being bad
