Skies completely grew on me over time, just like Yellow Teeth and Plato's Tripartite. Again, the more I listen, the less faults I have with the album.

I do see that possibly being the case, but also, I've realized I have to listen to this early in the day when I have a ton of energy-- otherwise, it doesn't click like it should.
I like Skies' beginning and end, just not really the heavier stuff starting about a minute in.

Yeah I hear what you mean. Sometimes I'm too exhausted to spin it, it demands a lot of attention to get the most out of as well. I suppose that's what makes it so great. Same with Fortress.
