@Mythodea What don't u like about their EP? Personally I'm not the biggest fan of Darkest Light, but Crystallized is just such a masterpiece IMO. Earthlings is great as well. Keep in mind that it's just an EP and will therefore never be a long masterpiece like this album.

Give Aquarius a spin my friend! It's really unique, way less DT-ish than Visions. Standout tracks would be 'Point of no Return', 'Eternal Rain' and 'Celestial Elixir' for me. Especially 'Celestial Elixir' since it's basically a short version of the album. There's also a crazy good live performance on youtube.

I love early Dream Theater, but mostly not my cup of tea yea. There's just something about this that makes me feel so great. And the cheese feels so self aware it's awesome.
