this has 471 comments hahahaha
think thats more than all the comments on my reviews put together
|
| |
>so how come this has 23 pages of comments but La Monte Young's Dream House 78' 17", whose entire B side (40 minutes) is - you guessed it! - just three sine waves, doesn't even have a review?
good question
|
| |
everyone get on the sachiko m x eddie prevost collab. straight 🔥🔥🔥
|
| |
genuine question would you equally enjoy another release thats nearly an hour of 3 sine waves if they were 3 different sine waves that played at like slightly different points

that's 1,601,613 different combinations
|

A good portion of those would actually be far more tolerable because the main tone on this is a Gb7 which is pretty much smack bang in the middle of the range of most harmful frequencies for human ears.

can u make ur own sines? what's the best combination of sine waves?
|
| |
yeah, it's not too hard... I only work in frequencies though, but my favourites are 120Hz, 440Hz, ~3kHz and 8kHz. Don't know what they correspond to but yeah.
|
| |
120hz is a lovely frequency I'd parabola to that
