I liked the second half more on 2nd listening.
The only part where it drags is Crossburner, song takes too long to get started.

kinda loses steam in the 2nd half and especially towards the ending.

I think it holds up well until Crossburner, last 2 tracks are kinda weak.

I think 3.5-4 is a fair rating.
Album has some of Dillinger's best moments e.g the title track, Hero of the Soviet Union. Coupled with some of their most bland e.g Crossburner, The Threat Posed By Nuclear weapons.
All in all, enjoyed this a lot.

The first half is pathetic. You could think it's a best of album since all they did was recycle old songs.

Except they didn't.

Well, this was hyped way too much. I can imagine that most people will lower their initial ratings a
month later. Or weeks. Or Days.

Huh, I'm really disappointed... Not a single song truly stood out to me. Still a 3 because, well, Dillinger...but fuck man...

I don't understand how nothing can stand out.
Not a disappointment by any means, but they have and can do better.

dling this now.
And reviewer said this was a grower, give the album time. You've listened to it once.

You should dig this.

I mean, Prancer, Hero and the title track are pretty cool and all, but put one of those songs on almost any of their previous albums, and it'd still not be in the top 5 songs on that album.
But yeah, gut reaction, gonna give it a couple more spins.
