i have come to realise recently that you do have a very wide music taste that crosses over with mine quite a lot. before i saw you like shikari and thought that was that lol silly me for judging a book by its cover
|
| |
Album Rating: 4.5
enter shikari are just the band that got me listening to and thinking about more music when i was like 12 so yeah sorta just a nostalgia thing although i do think they are a genuinely good band
they are also very british so im not surprised theyre not as loved here (where we have a shit ton of american users) as in england itself, where they are massive

They're a good gateway band in the same way that Linkin park are to many people there, the same goes for us here. They also have some absolute bangers too
|

Album Rating: 4.5
Theyre really the only gateway band i still listen to. Used to be really into linkin park and slipknot but cant stand them now, whereas ive listened to a ridiculous amount of shikari and still do

Mammal grew a lot on me. I think this could grow even more because it manages to mantain the interest throughout the whole album.

this album reminds me heavily of the haxan cloak's "excavation", they both feel alive in this unsettling, pulsating mechanical way

mammal contains neptune is dead, which is one the best tracks I have heard so far
