Odds are they are going to play a lot from this since it was just released, so if you want to be familiar with stuff they are going to play, you might give this a listen.

Building on the heavier tone of predecessor 'The Fire', New Jersey quartet Senses Fail display their hardcore chops on 5th LP 'Renacer'. Guided by new guitarists (Zack Roach & Matt Smith) & a new producer (Shaun Lopez), this relentlessy chaotic album hits hard & contains the odd atmospheric moment. Despite the aggressive nature of the tunes, Buddy Neilsen's lyrics are surprisingly optimistic, while melodic choruses are still the norm even if the hooks could have used a lift. Since many tracks initially sound very alike, 'Renacer' is more a grower than an immediately memorable LP. Recommended Tracks: Snake Bite, Ancient Tombs, Mi Amor & Between the Mountains and the Sea.

It's a good album but I can't play it all the way through, its all too same-y. I come back to it for the songs I like on it, which to be fair is more than a handful, but thats about it. Snake Bite > rest of album

Still Searching is best Senses Fail. Followed by The Fire, then this. Was never huge on Let It Enfold You.

for a while there a few years ago i was a bit suicidal so when i listened to that album for the first time it was feels galore. still is that way, but only because of the nostalgia from that. they haven't made a bad album though, but Waiting Room is a bit bland at times. still a solid album though.

I prefer this over their first two, but that's not really saying a whole lot.
