I was impressed by that. That's what an artist does instead of blow up twitter with rainbows.

Meh, it's ok I guess.
I still haven't gotten around to listening to these albums still!

I usually dig their poppier songs because they're well done, but this.. Ehhh.

Another new Coheed song, "here to mars."
Guess i'm pretty much done with this band from what i've heard of this new record so far.

I think the new songs sound like stuff that could have been on either of the Afterman albums, so I don't really see a problem here.

I think the new singles are cool. I win.

So far I haven't been disappointed by Coheed, but admittedly, I'm quite a fanboy. So, there's that.

Ascension restored some of my faith in Coheed. Decension stripped a little bit away. I will get the new album regardless but the glory days seem to be behind us.

Yeah, Descension was definitely the weaker of the two. Still some good songs on there though, Number City is probably one of my favorite Coheed tracks overall.

Second Stage for you I reckon

I would recommend the band, but I wouldn't start with this album, going off of your ratings.
If you want to check them out, start with either In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth 3, or Good Apollo Volume I. Or maybe even Second Stage Turbine Blade. But I probably wouldn't start with either of the Afterman albums.

No, I didn't mean your ratings in terms of numbers, I just mean what artists you had rated, haha.

Number City/Gravity's Union is so damn good. Just wish the rest of the album was.
