it would have been cool if they moved to a more gritty/dirty sound imo sort of like what they were going for on elephant but this sounds waaaayy way cleaner and poppy. and like that's cool on second listen i actually liked the track more but i dunno if they'll be able to make a full album like that work

anyway this is my most anticipated album of the year and im more of a hip hop guy now than anything and this is a big hip hop year

I like the overall direction they're heading in. They are definitely building an identity for themselves that was lacking in previous releases.

True. First single was great, cause I'm a man is cool, but i'd rather wait to hear it within the context of the album. Definitely finding their niche though which is great. Gotta admit I miss the crazy phasing guitars but I'm sure there'll be some hints of it.
