Last thing I heard by these guys was some hokey wannabe rage against the machine nonsense

It's iight. No point in comparing it to anything they did as this band though, different styles and different leagues.

new EP is fun

So bands that change names get a new artist page and the original page is left alone, right?

I think so
That's the way the Burn the Priest-to-Lamb of God name change was done

I can't ever get Hawk to come up without searching TotA with it
Damn, finally found their bandcamp. There are a lot of artists with hawk in their name

If you just enter Hawk and search, it'll automatically go to an existing Hawk page. Accidentally posted the EP there not knowing it even existed fml

lol, oh, yeah, it's Hawk (PA) on here
I meant in general, I was trying to find the EP to listen to it. I was having a tough time until I threw TotA in there with it and found an article linking to their website which linked to their bandcamp
It was uh... a process

Mmhmm
I am a little more vested in Hawk now that I have heard an actual EP from them instead of a couple random singles

I'm currently addicted to the closer, so damn catchy and Rory's feature is fantastic

I can't detach myself from TOTA - unlikely I will give the EP a 2nd listen as it didn't really hit for me.

Yeah, nothing on there hits near this or Haunt, but I am a little hopeful for future stuff. Debating on if I like it enough to get it from Bandcamp or not

It’s good if you’re able to separate Hawk from Tota imo. Mileage and Universes are stupid catchy. Only track that misses is Counter Ops

I'm able to do that. I never expected them to be the same band, but the new ep is just very generic to me. Counter Ops is cool, so is Mileage and Alibi, but overall none of the songs are anything special. It just all feels like shit I've heard before. The only thing the seperates it from the other core shit is Ricky's distinct scream and lyrics.

EP is ass agreed

Haven't heard these guys in ages.

That’s funny Jeet, I enjoyed most of it because I thought it wasn’t generic
