Eh I agree honestly. I will definitely spin it again when I'll be in the mood of rating Septicflesh but I won't do it before. Pyramid God, Mad Architect and Therianthropy are still occasional jams though.

The old stuff slays hard, especially the first three albums, Ophidian Wheel being my favorite.

Listen to "Heaven Below" it should change your image of the band if you know only the most recent stuff (Communion onward).

I've only heard this and Communion. Never been interested in hearing any of the others tbh.

I'd suggest to check the track I mentioned, If you like it I'm sure you'll love the whole album. I personally am a fan of Communion, but the old stuff is where it's at, no doubts.

Mystic Places Of Dawn is a must

Yeah t/t is fantastic, incredible way to open an album and then it never stops. I'm pretty sure Ophidian Wheel will remain my fave when I'll rate them though, I absolutely love its melodies.
