i don't think they were ever on the same label concurrently .. they've both been on Kranky at certain points but i think that's about it, i dunno

So, I found out, apparently the EP before this album 'Dropped Pianos' was recorded at Hotel2tango in Montreal, Quebec. Which is Godspeed's recording studio (Well.. Efrim Menuck and Thierry Amar from Godspeed work there as engineers)

Godspeed recorded many of their records there (F#A, Allelujah, Asunder, Sweet.. Luciferian Towers) and they rehearse there and Silver Mt. Zion do, too, for all of their albums.
