Yeah for sure

Idk how you feel about jazzy pop, but there's some really clever wordplay here

i'm always impressed by just how much a clear thinker anthony fantano is and how appropriated his interpretations are for albums, and I do genuinely think his reviews for both this and the new album and the appeal he finds in them are justified. But the only emotions I feel when I come back to this guy's music is frustration, especially for his ostentatious lyricism and the instrumentation he couples with it.

yeah but c'mon elaborate. Why is what i am saying nonsense, if i have elaborated on my reasons maybe 2 pages ago. Is my interpetation of this guy's instrumentation and lyricism as ostentatious or even pretentious wrong because it goes against the mean?

"Album rules man" doesn't say anything and it's doing nothing to persuade me. I want to understand from your perspective exactly why you don't think the lyricism is at it's root just napkin bullshit. Tell me why i'm wrong

nah i should backtrack though this isn't a terrible album and there are much worse out there, but I just don't like Dan, I think he's transparently mediocre at his artistic core

but i wish him all the luck for his future and i will keep on listening to him and he is probably a very nice man and a very good friend

Well there was 3weeks of constantly being bombarded with "Tesco Prize Draw" vouchers that renderd the site unusable on mobile then the coup de grace of the site packing in completely for a few days.
You've missed nothing dude, how were the travels?

Does seem quiet on here, guess the site glitches have finally hacked off everyone. Travels were great, Australia lived up to expectations, sunshine and beers every day and they call it winter down there
