^ for sure, although DTGL had better moments. This is their best for consistency and experimentation.

How was Spencer at doing Aaron's vocals on the older songs live?
|
| |
i'm pretty sure spencer did like 90% of the cleans, and they all sounded really great. cept for the beginning of writing on
the walls, but you know.
i'll try to remember the setlist best i can,
it started with illuminator, in regards to myself, breathing in a new mentality, in division, desperate times desperate
measures, the blue note/its dangerous business, paper lung, emergency broadcast, some song i didn't recognize at all,
pretty sure it's a new one, then they claimed their last song was a moment suspended in time, but then everyone
chanted "one more song" then they encored with writing on the walls. it was sick

this is much more consistent than dtgl.
i think LITSOS is better than this, and both are better than dtgl. that's just me though. they're all great.
oh and they played you're ever so inviting somewhere in there too

Interesting. Paper Lung, Driftwood and Reversal are rather underwhelming for me, and not because they're the slower, more experimental songs, either; they just don't do much for me. I'm solidly hooked by every track on DTGL, even Salmarnir haha. I'm also a bit disappointed by this album's production. It's not bad by any means but it's just not as sharp as the previous two have been.

i just love the sludgy-ness of this album.
and they sound so much better live without aaron, it's ridiculous

glad aaron's whiney cleans are out of the picture although i'll miss his drumming. i doubt i will replay this album.. It seemed most of the focus was on production and ambience and very little focus on harmony. I don't remember a single lyric, rhythm or riff from this album, only the underwhelming impression it left on me.

That setlist sounds really awesome.
I can't decide between this and DTGL. Neither album has many weak points.

ftiiiiiiiiiiiii

That riff with the anchor breakdown on My Deteriorating Incline is fucking sick I just
wish the album had more of that.
Read my mind; best part on the whole album.

it seems a lot of people are disappointed w/ this release. am i the only one satisfied!??!?!?
|

at the show, when the intro for in division came on the entire room went dark, and then like blinding light when the intro
started.
in division and deteriorating incline rule this cd.

c'mon dude, the ending breakdown in In Completion was glorious.

I think, and I don't think anyone but fromtheinside is going to agree, but LITSOS is their best cd. this is their second.
also, add paper lung to the awesome songs on this album list.
