FIRSTLY, it's FUTUREPOP, ONE WORD.

SECONDLY, IT DOES EXIST AND I AM PROUD TO CALL IT MY FAVOURITE GENRE.

It's really a branch of industrial music where it relies solely on synthesizers and programmed drums to make music.

fix'd. And I see. hmm, I may have to take a look at it just for shits n giggies. I'm not generally a

fan of industrial, but I really love Synth, and I'm sure I could get over programmed drums if the

music made up for it

:D, you know it's out of jest. I'm actually insanely curious about this new whimsical genre. Can you throw me some rec's? Singles? anything that'll hook me?

This is the single off the album that came out this year from my all time favourites Mind.In.A.Box

Here's another song from VNV Nation, another great act and probably one of the most famous ones. This band is pretty much coined the term "futurepop". This track is easily one of my favourite songs of all time.

Ok so final verdict:

I like it, but I feel like...this is just electro-pop, what would "Futurepop" mean exactly?

I know, I know. But I want to hear bloc describe it, I feel like he will have a magical answer that will explain better? I don't really even know

There is seems to be an ongoing battle on last.fm about Lady Gaga being labelled as futurepop.

Hmmm. I am still skeptical. I think you silly futurepoppers should just stick to calling it pop, and electronic-pop. Because I feel like that's what it is. That being said I do enjoy it so I'm def stoked I listened to it.
