that's silly, this just gets better with time. honestly, this has probably always been a challenging listen for you, but that's why the replay value is through the roof. obsidian is all surface level bullshit, just vapid pop songs that go from catchy to annoying in an instant. haaattee hate hate it.

this just has so many layerz and feels so much more accomplised, like he really put a lot of his time effort and soul into it. Obsidian was okay but felt vapid (like eags said) and uninspired in comparison.. by the numbers electronic with that BATHS style slapped on it to give it some identity.

I hated Obsidian on the first listen
Also, this is faaaar more accessible. It did take a couple listens, but nothing more. Just much of the songs here lack that extra oomph, whether structurally or lyrically, that I dig about Obsidian
