Hopefully the new album will make some people check this one and realize how good it is.

True, every new album (except maybe DoT) makes this one shine a little more

Still their most fun and groovy album. Production is so good as well, really organic, warm and spacey. And you can actually hear Myung laying down those mean basslines!!

True. An underrated work of the band.

Funny how this record was the red-headed stepchild of DT records for the longest time. The sheer quality was always there, but slowly revealed itself to the casual fan over time, especially when comparing it to their post Six Degrees output. This qualifies as their classic era and even the songs that you don't think are that great are pretty damn good.

Yea, this is a DT classic, an essential listen. I still prefer this to most 2000s DT records

I was always really hard on this one bc of how different it was to Awake and I&W... but it really ain't bad. Definitely does not deserve to share a rating with s/t. Different leagues.

I agree this is an album with a bit more commercial sound, imposition of their record label. But it still sounds great to my ears, a classic in their classic era.

It’s just too fucking long at 1hr18min being mostly mediocre. If they chopped this down to 50min of the better stuff, it would’ve been much better.

This is a 2.5 to me, but I’ve always loved Hell’s Kitchen, so have it the 3.

Will never understand why this has such a low rating. This one stands the test of time with ease and has so much to offer. Fantastic record and classic DT.

This album's a weird one, it's hard to actively hate anything on this album, it's just so lukewarm and harmless sounding compared to a lot of their other stuff. I do wish their future releases had as clean and crisp production like this though

Top 5 DT for me Doc!

And yeah, production on here is fantastic Djang0! I think some tracks range among their best material though, so don’t agree on the lukewarm part I guess ;-]
