Sabbath trying to be ... happy? Just kinda off code overall. You Won't Change Me is truly great, and so is It's Alright and She's Gone; Back Street Kids, All Moving Parts, and Dirty Women are strong, although DW has terrible lyrics; the rest is ... weak material and bad lyrics made palatable by a band that struggles to suck despite overdoing the drugs and losing the inspiration?



That line in She's Gone, about "The endless hours of heartache, waiting for you," I always misheard as "The endless hours of party / Are waiting for you" and I think that would have been truer.

oh this one is more uninspired than i remembered it being. damn, what a dropoff

jammed this in full for the first time just now. clearly going for something more commercial here but the unwieldy arrangements and rougher production jobs from the last two albums are mindbogglingly carried over.
