Backwards Marathon is my favorite

I've decided "The Silent Circus" is a good deal better than this. Even if this has a few more standout tracks (Selkies, Backwards Marathon, and The Primer especially) it's level of quality isn't as consistent as The Silent Circus, which rapes throughout. A few weaker songs here but it's still an easy 4/5.

i like alaska and silent circus equally. Colors is still my fave even though it swapped to alaska for a while.

I don't have the Silent Circus, but from what I've heard from Colors Live the songs on it kick ass. I throw on that DVD every now and then.

Silent Circus only just clicked with me, i've had it well over a year and it was a 3.5 for while. Solid 4.5 now. Mordecai is like Selkies with better death metal sections and more emotional (if not pre-pubescent) singing. The solo section at the end isn't as flashy but it's just as memorable.
