I always got the feeling when listening to it that SFSGSW was a rushed effort, after the success of Peace.
Still a good album, but after it they took a bit more time in the studio and then bought out RIP.
And we all know how good that fucker is.

Agree with the Paul Lani mixes as well.

I cant decide which one i like less, Risk or The World Needs A Hero.
With Risk they were doing something different, and it didn't work out.
With TWNAH, they were actually trying to go old school again, didn't work out well either imo

Meh, Peace Sells really doesn't have much replay value as a whole for me, I've listened to Endgame like 10 times since I got it, and I've probably listened to Peace Sells that many times since I got it.

It's still a 4.5 though, RIP is a 5

Peace sells used to be a 4.5 for me too but it grew on me so much with classics like my last words and good mourning black friday

Peace Sells is one of those 'close to 5, but not quite 5' albums, for me at least.

Just listened to this twice, and I gotta say this is overrated. Don't get me wrong, I definitely liked what I heard (thus the 4.0 rating), but it's not that much better than United Abominations to be honest. Also, Chris Broderick's soloing is incredibly fast and stuff, but not as as plesant to hear as Marty's or Polland's. Speedy riffs are fun, but as soon as I played Wake Up Dead and She Wolf after the album I noticed how weak Broderick's solos are, compared to stuff the band has done in the past. Melody and feeling are more important than skill demonstration.

A very good, short album. Kind of Megadeth's version of Reign In Blood.

Kind of Megadeth's version of Reign In Blood.
um no. album is 44 minutes long, not 29 minutes, and this isn't Megadave's best album (since RIB is Slayer's best album)

I agree that this is slightly overrated, might drop my rating
